Hi
I have a Mitsubishi 6 stack CD changer compact disc player and everytime when I try playing it, it loads it up and gives me an error, stating e1, e2,e3 (i.e. depending on which CD it's on) and it doe's not play. I just want to know whether this problem can be fiexed?
Will I need to replace the stack itself all the whole cd player?

My endeavor has done this error 3 a couple of times and the cd changer basically shuts off all lights and won't do anything. Someone on another solution page said to slide a credit card back and forth in the cd opening to fix the problem. I've done this both times and it has made the changer play again as if nothing had happened : )
hi i recently bought a lexus ls400 and it the trunk it has a ten disc cd changer by the steering wheel in the car is this little black box that keeps reading E-99 evertime i press play on this odd little box that is the control device to make the cd's play i've put the cd 's in the changer upside down right side up testing it and still the little black cd player play button/disc change button keeps saying E-99 my question is, is it a fuse or is this cd player thing near the stearing wheel just a peiece of garbage please contact me at [email protected] if you have any idea why this is doing this because i can't play any cd's theres no cd player where the cd/tape decks usually are in cars in the middle above the column shift. it would mean the world to me if you could help me out with any information as to why this brand new sony ten disc cd changer is giving issues to the cd player thing next to the stearing wheel on the right it's kind of hidden but it just won't stop saying e-99 no matter how brand new a cd i put in the changer thank you your friend john bunce
The player doesn't like the brand of CDR your playing. Try using just a
CD burner instead of a combo CD/DVD burner.
Also use Verbatim Pastel brand, because the player recognizes these
discs easier. Also, it wouldn't hurt for you to run a commercial disc
laser cleaner through this thing to clean the optical lens. Burn music
using Nero software because its
easy and the best.
Just accumulated dust can cause issues with the reader pickup I'm not sure what T99 means but if you want to spend $35-90 to fix it, it would be worth it.
Unplug the cable behind the cd stack box and plug it back in and see if that helps. It worked for me. I get this problem once in a while and this always helped.
I"LL SUGGEST U FIRST TRY TO FIX THE AUX INPUTS. CONFIRM WHETHER "AUX IN " IS "ON" or "OFF" .PRESS "SRC" SWITCH UNTIL "AUX 1" or "AUX 2" APPEARS ON DISPLAY. SELECT IT "ON".NOW HOPE FULLY THE CD PLAYER SHOULD PLAY.
