I can't get the bottom thread to come up with the needle on my euro-pro shark intelli-sew

It may need a new control board as I doubt the software can be reinstalled. Contact the maker support line and check.

A previous answer on this site from Zann_e for another model of Shark sewing machines suggests that you unthread the machine, remove the bobbin, clean the bobbin chamber, turn off and leave unplugged for 45 minutes and put it all back together again. The previous answer suggests that when there is no tension that you encounter the problem you are posting about. Hope this helps.

a ball point needle size 14 or 16 should suffice

Did you try a new needle (flat side facing rear of the machine)? Sometimes a burr on it or being bent stops it from picking up the thread. Other than that, it may be the timing on your machine and unfortunately it needs to be done by a professional with expertise and special tools.

There is no solution for that problem. My machine was doing the same thing, I returned it for "repair". Got it back 2 wks later and had the same problem. Just the other day, the machine did that, and then something "popped" and now the upper thread won't catch the bobbin thread. I called Customer Service and was told that if I want my machine repaired, I have to send them a check with the machine for $81! Your best bet...get rid of the Intelli-Sew and buy something that doesn't break every month or so!

you need a new bobbin case, only problem is finding the right one. I am currently wasting hours trying to find one for our 9110 intelli sew which has needle holes punched through it from where it jumps right out. I think lots of manufacturers know fine which parts fit the Euro-Pro but would like all of us to scrap them and go out and buy theirs!
