You will need to se-register the handsets you are getting rid of...on the base unit go to initial settings-registration-deregister handset. Deregister the handset #'s you are trying to swap (the number is just left of the name on the handset display). Then register the 2 new handsets (on handset: menu-initial settings-regitration) and on base menu #123. Follow instructions on screen to complete registration. This should activate your 2 new hansets and de-commission the old ones.

I cant recieve calls

There are a couple of things that could cause this issue. The first thing that you will want to do is to take the battery out of the handset while it is powered up, wait 1 minute, then reinstall the battery, and power it back up. Then place an outgoing call, next place a call to your handset. By taking the battery out and reinstalling it, you are forcing the handset to loose the connection with the wireless towers, and when you turn it back on, it re-registers. This is a common issue with all cellular devices, and carriers/providers. If this does not resolve the issue then I would advise that you call your wireless provider as there may be an issue with your account, or in their switch, which controlls all incoming and out going calls.

My lg ct810 screen just freeze an only incoming calls work

While the handset is on, take the battery out, wait 1 minute, then reinstall the battery, and power the handset back up. This should resolve the issue. If the device is less than 1 year old, At&T will replace it with another one. This process is called exchange by mail, and it only takes a couple of days to get your new handset. They even provide the pre-paid return label, so all you have to do is take your sim card out of your old device, the battery and memory card (if applicable), install them in the new device, and power it up, there is no need to call to activate the new handset. Place the old handset in the box, place the label on it and put it in the mail.

Keypad not working 1208

This is issue is quite common on most handsets, regardless of the manufacturer. What happens is that the handset will freeze up, and simply resetting the device will rectify the issue. The first thing that you will want to do is to make sure that the handset is on, and then remove the battery. This is called a hard shock and will reset the handset. Once you have removed the battery you will wait approximately 1-2 minutes and then reinstall the battery, then the cover and then you will power the handset on. Your keys should then be working, and if they are not, then you have something that is going on with the computer board in the device and it may be covered under warranty by the manufacturer if the device is under a year old. If this is the case, then you will want to call your cellular provider to file an insurance claim.

Phone is gettin hund up all da time....numberpad and touch screen are not working

When this happens what you need to do is called a "hard shock" on the handset. This is pretty simple, all you have to do is with the handset powered on, remove the battery and let it sit for a minute and then reinstall the battery and power the device up. If the issue persist, then what I would recommend is calling your wireless provider as all handsets come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Wireless providers will ship you another handset, free of charge, and will supply the postage and packaging to ship the old one back to them.( If your phone is damaged you may be charged for the replacement) You will lose any ringtones, games that you have on the old handset. You will be able to transfer your contacts and your pictures (if applicable) to the new handset via blue tooth or sim card (if applicable). Hope this helps

All calls show up as 'unknown' on my t707a 9even if they're not private. How can I fix this?

Have you changed handsets recently if your phone book has been saved on the handset instead of your SIM when you change handsets the SIM will not have any numbers and contacted stored on it.

Put your SIM back into the old handset and copy all your contacts from the old handset to your SIM and reinsert it into you new handset.

It will take a few minutes also any messages that you have saved with your known contacts will also be updated.

Answering machine replay is garbled

Your handset battery will have no effect on the answering machine audio, providing your regular audio is fine (its fine when you make a phone call right?), I will assume yes. I have seen this problem in these models, and your problem lies in your base station, and the only fix you can attempt is to go into base programming and delete as much as you can out of the memory, greetings, old messages, etc.. Power down, then power back up again. Call in and leave a message. See if it sounds better through the handset or the speaker on the base when you play it back. If its garbled both ways (reviewing through the handset or on the speaker base) , then your problem is in your base memory. If it is just garbled on your handset, then it may be a radio module problem with the base, either way it probably needs to go in for repair. I don't know if Panasonic still repairs that model, but if you google Panasonic cordless telephone repair, you will find someone. Good Luck, CG

Logitech internet handset "UNAVAILABLE" error

Mine was working fine at one point. I had been using it the night before without issue. However later on when I went to make a call the next day the handset said Disconnected.

Any Skype functions said "Unavailable". Rebooting the PC, Restarting the Headset Software and Skype didn't fix the issue.

The fix for mine was to go into "Menu" then "System" on the Handset and do a reset. Soon as it was done, the Skype info popped backup on the handset and it was fixed.

For those who haven't changed it, the default PIN on these handsets is 0000 <-- Zero's

Mode incorrectly switching to Handset

Hi Sue, Can you tell me if there is anything else conencted to your fax line? Most Ricoh products will display handset if the dialtone is not detected. It could be that something is using the line or is causing it to short. Another thing to check if the machine is an older 1515- if this occurs after you receive a fax and you are behind a PBX, there was a batch of modems in the Ricoh machines that had a problem with not disconnecting the line, resulting in the handset being displayed. Could be any number of items, normally I would start the troubleshhoting with line issues and go from there.. Brad

Validation

I would assume this could have been a product that was returned to the company that you purchased it from. Follow these instructions. 1. 1. Disconnect power from the base by pulling the plug out of the back of the unit. 2. Press and hold the Page button and while holding the Page button reconnect the power. 3. Continue to hold the Page button until the charge/in use light flashes rapidly. 4. Release the Page button. 5. Press and release the page button on the base once. All handsets are de-registered and HANDSET NEEDS REGISTRATION shows in the display. Then From the Handset Setup Menu: 1. Press the caller ID-volume ( 6 or 5) button to scroll to the REGISTRATION sub-menu. 2. Press the mute/program button to enter the menu. REGISTRATION 1YES 42NO - - -shows in the display. The default setting is 2NO. 3. Use the touch-tone pad to select 1 for YES or 2 for NO. Or use the caller ID-volume ( 6 or 5) button to scroll to 1YES or 2NO. 4. If you select YES, press the mute/program button. HOLD BASE PAGE FOR 5 SECONDS, THEN PRESS HANDSET PROGRAM shows in the display. (Your handset should be held near the base during registration process.) 5. Press and hold the page button on the base unit until the charge/in use indicator flashes. Press the handset mute/program button. REGISTERING shows in the display. HANDSET X REGISTERED shows in the handset display, where X is the handset number. You may now rename your handset. (Refer to Step 3 & 4 of Handset Name Section) NOTE: IF you are re-registering the handset through the handset menu; to rename your handset you must go to the Handset Name Section and start from the beginning step. I understand that you have tried the registation process. Sometimes with electronics, you have to start from ground 0, before it will work correct again. If there are further questions or comments, please post here. Please rate this solutn through fix-it. Thank you
