in ir400 e604=data coded..
process to solve this..
remove platen glass..
remove cover from image processor board ..
on ip board you found rams..remove 2 rams in white slots..

then start the machine..ok..

Problem :
E604 Error Code. You followed all the troubleshooting steps in the service manual and still have an E604 code.



Solution :
Check the Image Server Memory or the Image Processor PCB. The recommended Image Sever Memory should be Kingston 32MB, 144 pin EDO Module, 64 Bit, 60 nanoseconds, No Parity.
