If pot used to fill all the way then check the filter if one is installed and the restrictor on the back of the tank, you can also run the deliming spring through the brew tube.
If the pot never filled all the way then remove the front panel and use the instructions to reprogram the brewer.

I just bought the Bunn VLPF series, double burner. My other Bunn coffee pot had the option of make a half pot of coffee but this one does not Is there a tip to follow for half a pot?

Sorry this brewer is usually set up for a full pot brew. I have reset this for a small (but not half) pot brew as the customer wanted to use a metal carafe (with their own logo). I also tried once to get it to half pot brew but it can get tricky if you actually brew twice to get a full pot (in the same pot).
* there is a siphon action that starts once the boiler tank gets filled to a certain point. From that point it will continue to flow until the boiler is emptied to the level that stops the siphon action and leaves enough water in boiler to reheat for the next brew. Achieving the siphon point may be a larger volume of water for 1/2 a pot but may work for 3/4ths a pot. The 1/2 way mark may be affected by the brewers "level" while placed on a table or sagging in the middle of a weak table.
* Usually if you want a smaller brew then go with a smaller brewer. Though there is a hot water tap that will give you 2-4 cups of hot water (it gets tepid after that) which you can use for the "Mug" style brew. But it does get messy.ukeboy57
* Final, If you don't mind a little more than 1/2 pot brews then ask your vendor to adjust the machine for you. Though a reminder NOT the double brew in the same pot as it will overflow.

Is it still good?

No. Pork must be refrigerated. I recommend that you toss it.

You need to clean the coffee maker.Use white vinegar.Just fill the reservoir with and hit brew. When it is done.Fill the pot half way with ice and one hand full if salt.Swirl the pot till all stains are gone. Then run one full pot of clean water,to rinse.Make yourself a fresh pot and enjoy.

I have a GB Siesta model stove top espresso pot and it only ever makes half of what it should.....I have other pots and don't have that kind of problem.....am I missing something?

The GB Siesta Oro was sold with a "Reducing Filter". This filter allows you to make half of the amount of coffee stated as the capacity of the pot. It is the mesh disc with the small stem that sits on top of the coffee after you fill the filter. If you want to make half the capacity of your pot, fill the chamber half way and use the reducing filter. If you want to make the fill capacity, fill the chamber completely and don't place the reducing filter on top of the coffee. Good luck. I hope you enjoy your pot as much as I enjoy mine. Ciao

Im cooking fish, how much oil ?

Enough to submerge the fish in the basket. Easiest way to get it pretty close:
1. Place the basket in the cooking pot.
2. Fill to the estimated displacement with water. The estimated volume would about half the height of the basket in the pot, if you were to fill the basket with fish half way. This way you know that you'll have enough to cover the fish when you start frying.
3. Measure the water. If you have the markings stamped in the side of the pot, this is pretty easy. Otherwise, pour the water into a gallon jug, keeping tally on how much water you removed from the pot. A partial gallon at the end is easily estimated. Works the same for liters, depending on where you live.
4. Dry the pot thoroughly before you add the oil.
