I hooked everything up and went to turn it on it will turn on and display digital telvision in the lower right hand corner then it just shuts off
Take the Inverter Board out and check for Open windings on the 6 Transformers along the edge of the board. When you find one open, get the number off of the Transformer, Google it, buy one and replace the bad transformer. I was given one of these TV's and fixed it for $11. It's not rocket science, if you can use a DMM and a soldering Iron, you can fix this.

Im having the same problem with my set as well, i have opened it up and determined it was the inverter/power supply board causing the problems. now im debateing wether i should buy a board for 119.99 or just throw it out.(i trashpicked the tv)

Same model, same problem. Mine was made November 2007. Guess you get what you pay for!
I have the same problem. Unit powers up and shows the digital television in bottom right hand corner and then powers back off. I checked the board and did not see anything blown.
