Power socket in middle counsole wont charge my cell phone

No. Cell in a home charges on 110 volt. Car voltage is 12 volt. When you charge in a car your charger converts the voltage.

if you checked all of the fuses and they are not blown check to see if anything else works in socket ie: cell phone charger. ;lf it charges then its your lighter. also check to see if anything is in the socket

Changing the fuse in the fuse box wont solve your problem On the back of the socket that is mounted in the dash that the lighter pushes into has a inline fuse that if over heated will blow. You will have to change the lighter. Toyota wanted close to $70 for a replacement lighter for my Tacoma. I never used the cigarette lighter for cigarett but needed to charge my cell phone so I replaced it with a dash Mount 12 Volt Power Socket for $10. Good luck.

check the power in the lighter socket or the charger which is a small transformer has not failed . Try it in another car . If it works there then I would suspect a fuse for the lighter if there is no power there.. Make sure that the adaptor plug is tight as the 2 bars on the side are the earth for the adaptor and if not tight then there may be no earth . Use a flat bladed screw driver and bend the bars out a bit to increase tension in the socket.

YOUR BEST BET IS GO FROM YOUR FUSE BOX USE A TESTER TO FIND A WIRE THAT HAVE CONSTANT POWER WITH THE IGNITION OFF THEN FIND A COMMON GROUND TIE IT TOGETHER AND THERE YOU GOT CONSTANT POWER

It could be the fuse is blown for the lighter socket. If you have something you can plug in to check it (cell phone charger or GPS power cord) try that. What usually happens is the cig lighter itself (the thing you put in the socket and gets hot) shorts out, and blows the fuse.

a fuse. check them all pay no attention to what label says its for. replace all blown ones. if you do find a blown fuse then you probably found the problem

STEPS TO REMOVE HEATER CORE IN 1996 ISUZU TROOPER

1. Remove battery cables.
2. You have to remove the upper dash pad on this paticular year model. with a 10 mm socket and a 1/2 inch extension remove the 5 retaining bolts. Remove the blower assembly under the passenger side of dash.
3. Remove passenger side seat and center counsole.
4. Drain radiator.
5. Disconnect hoses from now exposed heater core.
6. Turn it 180 degrees and slide out.
7. Replace in reverse order.

If the car is a counsole type shifting you remove the top cover then you will find a small bulb usualy clamped onto the metal part inside the counsole.
