Connecting a sony Vaio vgn-fe570g laptop to a Samsung Monitor

Normally this issue happens after installing the a system related software or an upgrading/ reinstalling a operating system. Please read the below steps very carefully and follow the procedure below to resolve the issue.
Download and install the following application updates in the exact order they are given.

IMPORTANT:All of the listed application updates are available online. Software and driver updates for your Sony product are available online.

1. Audio Driver (most recent)
2. Video Driver (most recent)
3. Sony Firmware Extension Parser Device Driver
4. Sony Shared Library Update
5. Sony Setting Utilities Update
6. VAIO Event Services Update (If available)
7. VAIO Launcher Software (S1/S2/AV Buttons)

If the above order does not work, try the order below.

1. Audio Driver (most recent)
2. Video Driver (most recent)
3. Sony Programmable I/O Control Device Driver Utility or Sony Notebook Control Driver
4. Sony Shared Library Update
5. Sony Utilities DLL Update
6. Sony Event Service (If available)
7. Sony AV Mode Button Utility (If available)

Remove ALL media, DVD,CD,USB, Unplug, remove battery, plug in, reboot, Can you boot to Safe Mode? It is a know issue with the Samsung TV that the VAIO laptops does not connect. I request you to perform the steps mentioned below and check if the issue is resolved.

First install the BIOS Update, second install the Sony Utilities DLL Update, third install the Sony VAIO Event Service Update.

Visit the below page, select appropriate operating system and install the Sony Shared library and Sony Notebook Utilities.

Also ensure that the services are started for VAIO Event services.

Press Windows logo key + R key to open Run window.
Type "services.msc" without quotes.
Locate the VAIO Event services from list and set it to automatic and started.

The issue appears if the Event services are not installed or working as expected in the computer. To resolve the issue, download and install the Sony Shared Library, Sony notebook Utilities and the VAIO Event Services Update.

It depends how you reinstalled the OS in the computer, was it using the recovery discs or retail XP disc. Using recovery discs if you are installing, everything should work fine. This scenario may occur if you have used a retail OS disc to reinstall the OS.

Anyways try the below mentioned troubleshooting steps:

Install the Original Video Driver from the below link:

After this install Origial VAIO Event Sevices:

Then, install VAIO Event Service Update.

At last, install the AV Mode Utility app:

Install the drivers in the same order, this should work. VAIO Event Services take cares about the FN keys, after installing all these drivers, restart the computer and check if the VAIO Event Service is running at the startup.

If the issue persists, please try re-installing the Camera Driver and the Camera Application in the Computer.
