After two years my CAA66 blew a fuse. No changes were made, it just happened over night. Now, everytime I replace the fuse it blows as soon as I turn the unit on. All sources are working properly. Any ideas?

Sounds like a short in the wiring to the reverse lights or another part of that fuse. Often shares fuse with shift indicator. Also could be bad fuse block. Good luck.
You have a short. Check the insulation on all wiring that carries + voltage - possible that some wire may have lost insulation and is abutting some metal part shorting it out.
check wiring on shift columb going to turn signal switch it could be the switch it self I had this happen on a new chevy truck hope this helps good luck jerry
Hi, You have a 'short circuit' in the system or a bad ground somewhere. Go online and search on the Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler forums for this issue. I've read about myself but don't recall the common cause.
I would start by getting a wiring diagram and find what these two seemingly separate systems have in common, or where they overlap. That might narrow down the possibilities. If they have nothing in common, then I would suspect the fuse box itself.
connector under the truck, near the trans cannot remember specifics at this time but remember starting there every time one cam into the dealer with tail light issues and blown fuses
This is happening because you have a very bad fault, a Phase to Earth short, problem. Leave machine UNPLUGGED, Breaker/Fuses OUT. do NOT use it, nor Touch it, It is possible to get severe electric shock. PLEASE get a registered serviceman to inspect this unit.
