HOW CAN I SETUP PROGECTOR WITH DISH NETWORK?

I NEED HELP IN CONNECTING THE PROJECTOR TO THE DISH NETWORK.

    I have dish network and just switched my 57'' hd tv for projector and screen. My new Yamaha reciever has HDMI pass thru. I hooked a Hdmi cable from Dish HD reciever to the Yamaha and then one to the projector. Also put on toslink from dish to reciever. I get sound, but no picture. Any ideas?

Hi YOLANDAZUNIG

You will have to give me an idea of what outputs your dish decoder has got and what inputs your Projector has got.

Normally you would use the normal RCA ( Video Connection )

You'll see at the back of the decoder there will be 1 with a yellow ring around it - That's video , and another two with red and white rings respectively - for Audio.

Make sure you connect the cables according to colour from the decoder to the Projector.

It does sound like it's the tuner on that receiver going bad, and I can definitely help you get that taken care of. You may need a replacement receiver to be mailed out which I can definitely help with.

My tv is a projection and it looks like the red is separated from the rest of the picture. like 3D.
The progectors color convergence may be dammaged.

The cure for that of course is to use your warrenty if the projector is still under warrenty.

if your warrenty is expired you can still send the projector back to the company who makes it for repair.
