I took visor clip off jabra cruiser only to find out it's the antenna for the FM transmitter. How do I reattach the antenna?

    How did you remove the clop on the jabra? could you tell me if you are still active

There could be two possible issues: the firmware updater failed or the speakerphone is "stuck" in DFU mode (firmware updater mode). If it's stuck, the best thing to do is to restart the software. I'd suggest trying to plug the speakerphone into a different USB port. If that doesn't work, the updater may have failed in the process, which would render the speakerphone unable to do anything (the firmware is no longer installed at all so the device can't do anything). If this is the case, Jabra can replace the speakerphone under the terms of the warranty agreement. Just call 800-327-2230 (800-489-4199 in Canada) to start the warranty replacement process.

How do I remove the antenna from my JABRA Crusier in car speaker phone? The antenna also acts as the clip to hold the Cruiser to the visor.
The wire antenna is removeable without breaking it. The ends of the wire that are inserted into the back of the unit are bent (L-shaped) inside the unit. With the back of the unit facing you, gently slide the left end toward the center and lift out. Then slide the right end toward the center and lift out. Reverse procedure to replace wire antenna visor clip.

The FM transmitter feature will pick both calls and music from your phone, via bluetooth communication, and broadcast them to your car's radio, on a pre-arranged frequency. So, yes, it will act as a bult in bluetooth car system. When you press the FM button, your car kit will announce a frequency. Then, you tune in to that frequency on your car's radio.
For full details, incuding all the features and fuctions supported, please, refer to your car kit's user guide. You can download it from this location.

Go to options menu on BB bb_icon.gif and locate Bluetooth.
- Enable Bluetooth.
- Then turn on Jabra 250 and Hold down the Multi-Function Button until you have a SOLID BLUE LIGHT on the LED on the headset. This could take up to 10 seconds and will take place after the LED has ceased to flash.

Hi,
To remove the list, press and hold the Answer/End button, Volume up button and FM button at the same time. A beep indicates the list was removed from the speakerphone memory. The next time you power on, the speakerphone will go into pairing mode as the first time you powered your new Jabra CRUISER on.

  • they are dependent upon the antenna. best thing to do if u want a to spent the time and money to do that would be to install a new stereo witha AUX plugin instead of your FM transmitter
