Machine seems to stay unbalanced during spin cycle. Seems to have happened all of a sudden. Instead of smooth spinning of tub, it thrashes about as if unbalanced. Wash cycle works normally.
Same issue. works ok on wash and slow spin, but with a slight noise. When it goes to high speed spin, there is a big knocking sound. I replaced both shocks, but that didn't seem to help. It might be inside the tub, between the stainless steel tub and the outside tub. Maybe a broken guidewheel? will check the Sears site for a diragram. Hello, have to tell you that most noises from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping noise during the spin, the load of cloth may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the cloths, then restart the machine. Repeat these steps if necessary.

That is a common occurrence with dryers such as this one. Even though it sounds bad, it is harmless. If it really bothers, you can re-balance the load and it should reduce the vibration.

I haven't experienced that problem, but is it possible that the machine becomes unbalanced with the spinning load and then aborts the spin, so it doesn't finish? Has the machine been properly leveled during installation?
Same issue. It appears that I have a few broken plastic pieces. I'm going to take the unit apart tonight.
Did you find the cause?
