Remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.
This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Hi, Take your vehicle to a holden dealership, they will read the radio code out of the body control module for you. An auto electrician may be able to read out the code for you if they have an appropriate tech tool

My battery went flat and I jump started my car (Holden VT) now my stereo is locked. Dose anybody know how to unlock it. It's a eurovox radio unit.

Samantha, You need the VIN and the radio serial number. Take those into a Holden dealer to get the radio code and programming instructions from the dealer. They may want a small fee for the #. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

VT commodoore radio code

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your Holden service centre andget them to enter this code for you.

Radio is not working, displays the time but is unresponsive to any buttons I push, all that is on the screen is the clock and "locked" it just started this out of the blue, I went into work and...

well that told you,,,its locked out becouse you took the battery off and let the power supply go off to the radio,, then you must have tryed to push the buttons to get the radio to work again well you only get three go's at putting in the right coad before the radio "locks you out!" now you need to see the main dealer to get the unlock coad for your radio,,, when they give you the right coad keep it safe,, every time you take off the battery you will need to re-coad the radio

Need radio coad for standard renault clio radio , i replaced the battary and now it flashes 0000, and i cant find the coad in the books

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)

To see if your code is available here  for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST A BRAND  NEW  QUESTION

quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

How labor intensive is changing the battery in my 2003 Chevy Impala? Can Auto Zone do it?

Labor intensive? ROTFL, if it takes more than 10 minutes, they need to decide on a new career. My mother is 74 and she can change a battery in 20 minutes.
