Re: Oster Microwave Model GOB 61101 run but doesn't heat...
The fuse in the white jacket ( 0.85 amp) is blown. Easy fix but unplug and watch out for the cap. It's located on the right back side between the transformer. The fuse looks like the old car glass buss fuses.
also the fuse is in a white plastic jacket that snaps open with red wires on each end.also the fuse is in a white plastic jacket that snaps open with red wires on each end.

Are you sure that Model Number is correct? There are 73 Oster Microwave Manuals here, but none of that model number designation. When in doubt 'Read the Manual'.
The kilograms settings are for meats and cakes and large objects. All microwaves have a seconds and minutes setting. Most also have presets for certain things like Pizza and Popcorn.
There are three things to consider, the magnetron "heats food" high voltage diode "sometimes cracks" and the high voltage capacitor "sometimes shorts" one or more can cause the symptom of no heat. I recommend a professional to assess.
It sounds like the thermal fuse may be defective, or the fan is not running, or the magnetron is getting to hot. If there are any heat issues the thermal fuse will cut power and reset in 5 minutes.
