Pull the crown out to the second click (the round button on the side of the watch) Twist it to the right until the correct time.
The first click changes the date if you ever need to.

How to turn-off chime of elgin Westminster chime wall clock with pendulum?

Are there two batteries. One for the time and one for the chime? Try taking the one for the chime out and it should stop chiming. mine worked that way but is a different make.

I want to set the watch to beep or chime on the hour.

When you are setting alarm, there will be visible sign of loudspeaker or bell. Toggle with buttons and when the sign is visible in normal mode (ordinary time showing mode - everyday wear) the beep will alert you every hour. Be aware - there are hundreds of people asking how to disable this function, simply because it gets annoying after a few days - it works during the night time as well.

I have a E. Howard Accurate Radio Controlled Time & Date watch and it has the wrong time. I would like to set it but I do not have the instruction.

Try the site below for instructions. However, after resetting my watch, with the same problem, it still is running 2 minutes slow.

My Oceanus watch model no. 4749 stays 1/2 hr slow. I manually reset it to the correct time and it resets itself to 1/2 hr slow. I have it set at central time

You can get manual information from the Oceanus web site (NOT casio strangely enough!).

Insert "www.oceanus-us.com/" into your search engine

Select "support", then "Manual information"

Enter your model number and download the information. There are instructions on choice of home city and further adjustments if it still is not correct after initial setting up.

The digital display shows the correct time but the hands do not.

hi there when you replace batteries in wave ceptors all hands have to be set to the home position (straight up at 12 oclock), as the instructions vary wildly from watch to watch you will have to download the manual from www.casio.co.uk you will need to put in the module number (found on the back plate of the watch), this will be in PDF format, you can download adobe reader for free from www.adobe.com to read PDF files. good luck

Starter Watch Setting Difficulties

I found out by toying with it. Here you go.

Hold the START button to set up the time. Pressing START moves to the next set of digits. Pressing RESET will advance by one digit. (Careful! Holding RESET will decrease to the lowest set of digits.) Hold the START button again if you are finished with setting up the time.
