The compresor runs but the inside fans do not. the box is getting warm

There is alot of things to look at first listen for compreser if its running then there is a fan next to it make sure its running if its not you can put a box fan on condenser and compresor and if it starts cooling again u know the fan is the problem this is the most common thing ive seen.

Your still froze up.There is a freeze cutoff device in the air handler upstairs.
Look for a thin silver color tube near the coil and follow it to the control box,there may be a reset button.If not, try using a hair dryer to warm up the coil and it should reset itsself.
These freeze devices can take an hour to reset on there own sometimes,do not run the compressor while doing this.

What line? if its the lines on the back of the refrigerator, the ones coming out of the compresor, then check if the compresor is still running when line becomes warm, if compresor turns on and off every few minutes or so, you might have to change the overload, relay or capasitor( if equiped with).

The condensor fan motor is probably not running. The condensor fan keeps the compresor cooled, if the compresor gets to hot, it shuts down until it cools off and tuns back on, but will not keep temp. Heat exchange lines go in the panel between the doors to serve as a heater so the doors dont freeze shut, but when the compresor overheats, so do those lines. That would be why that panel gets so hot. Both problems will be resolved with a new condensor fan motor ( located by the compresor).

If the fan outside doesn't work the compresor will overheat and shut off by the thermal protection inside the compressor , to fixed this you have to replace the fan motor and its capacitor.

If the fan located next to the compresor works that means that the compresor relay is bad or the compresor burned out.

it could be the (LP) low pressure switch which would shut the unit down

Either you have abad comoresor or abad compresor relay ,i will try to replace the relay first(if you don't have away to check the compresor) wich is cheaper (about $20 for the part)If doesn't work the compresor is burned or stuck.
