I do not know what plugs at the rear of stereo I have to have in or if there is something else I am not doing
Your stereo most likely has an audio input in the back. 1 red and 1 white. It's usually labeled "AUX". Go to your local electronics shop, (radio sh**k) and get an rca audio cable where on one side it's 2 cables (red & white), and on the other side it looks like a headphone jack input or female Your microphone should plug into that side, unless your mic has the big jack. In that case just get the adapter to go from big to small. The red and white part of the cable will go into the AUX input on the back of your radio. And that's it!
just press the AUX mode of your stereo and your mic should work.
