I Would like to update my Garminc330. I have a glitch in the map (tells me address doesnot exist, when I know it does)

Would like an update for my c330 --- gives me wrong directions to address entered. Apparently map is out of date. How do I load certain maps? How do I update maps?

I would like to update my Garminc330. It tells me the address does not exist when I know it does.

It gives me crazy directions!!!

I have tried to update it online but it tells me satellite reception is weak, that I must be indoors. Thats right . Thats where my computer is.

HELP!!!

My customer's navigation on her 2008 Prius will not work. It says her addresses do not exist.

Could be you only need a map update. Check the map version and check how long the address exists.
It also could be, the map you use, they did not bring in all roads.
In my Toyota from 2012 the navigation, missed streets that existed 3 years before the map was created. I have a 2012 map from June.

If your GPS is not finding any address, then the most likely cause is that the wrong country map is loaded or the map is corrupted as finding an address does not rely on getting any satellite signals (your GPS should at least show your home location or the last known position on the 'correct' map): I suggest that you look at your specific GPS user manual to find how to check that you have the correct map loaded: if it is the case, then find the instruction on how to 'reset' your GPS as its software may be corrupted.

I wa in Vancouver, and there is a new bridge that opened in june of this year. Why would the GPS not able to find it and derrect us to it, instead it was telling us to go take a ferry which is no longer...

Area maps are not drawn up every year. There is easily a several year gap before mappers get back to any given area to map any new changes since the last mapping. If that bridge was just opened, mappers wouldn't have had a chance to add it to maps, allowing it to be added to the map software so you could update your gps device. Basically, the bridge was too new for your gps to know about it's existence yet.

Upgrades for garminc330

Upgrade maps are only produced maybe once a year so maybe none available yet. You should be able to download them from their website. However-they are not free.

Im trying to find out how to update my address book in my copycenter c128

You can manually enter addresses by going to Machine Status> Tools. Add Address Book Entry and entering single entries there. Youcan also upload a .csv by browsing into the copier via the IP and going to Proprties> Services> Internet Messaging> E-mail> Public Address Book and Mapping the existing address book to your computer. It will be in a Comma Seperated Value format that can be Modified in Excel and reuploaded in the same area, but instead of mapping existing address book, Upload .CSV file to Address Book and exiting.

Why is it that with my tom tom GPS i cant search for exact addresses?

get the latest APPLICATION from www.tomtom.com or by plugging in via USB. This should update your device and you will be able to find lots more when searching, some addresses do not exist ( to the tomtom) and these should be FLAGGED as MAP ERORS using your device. Then they will be amended by Tomtom corp. in later updates of the maps, gor this reason you also need to keep you tomtom updated via MAPSHARE.
