You need an AT&T sim card. Are you using a GSM phone? If so, the GSM phone will work on AT&T only if you have an AT&T sim card. The phone will only let you dial emergency numbers without the Sim installed.

How do I unlock doro410 for att sim, or will it work with att sim since it's on the att network?!?

Your cell phone may be locked to a particular cell phoneprovider and in this case it needs to be unlocked to use with a different cellphone service provider. To get the security code/restriction code to unlock the cellphone from the current cell phone provider so you can use the SIM card with adifferent phone provider, Please click on this link and follow my instructions:-http://www.fixya.com/support/r4049238-unlock_cell_phoneIf yourphone provider does not help you then these WEB sites it provides securitycodes for a small price.http://www.mobileunlockstore.com/?gclid=CKDb2_y2558CFSlJagodxBkDHwhttp://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/http://www.superunlockcodes.com

Get address book off sim

if you just copy the contact then address will not show and you can not copy addresses from phone to sim or vicsa versa.

Samsung sgh-x426

I also have a x426 from 2003 and it wont work with the new ATT sim cards either, This is because of the Cingular/ATT merger which created a new network. The older original ATT phone must be unlocked to use a sim card from the new merged network. Try calling ATT Mobility customer service and request the subsidy unlock code. They are required to give it to you upon request, but it takes several days usually to get the code. I know because I used to work at a ATT call center.
