I first had no problems with my scanner from the computer. I had to restore the computer now I can't get the icon to load on the bottom right to use the scanner. I installed the software three time but it still won't work. No problems printing. any ideas
I went to control panel and typed in scan. clicked on "scanners and cameras". hit "scan profiles". chose lexmark. hit "add profile". it wouldn't save so i hit "preview first" and that made it physically scan and it showed up on the screen. after that I could hit name it and "save profile" and i got my papers onto the comp. i can't figure out how to get the papers out of the control panel format tho. also my sis's comp is high tech so i don't know how much use this will be. but if you get this far and the files copied out of the control panel format plz let me know.

Hello Rickxx8 your answer is kinda simple all you have to do is press "start" then press "all programs" then go to "lexmark 2300 series" then a list of names will come up click on a picture with a page surrounded by a blue circle with the name "all-in-one centre" and from there you will be able to control your printer from every section with the scanner section included. so i hope this solves your problem. if not come back to this place and tell me what is the further problem so i can help ok? bye now

put your pointer on the taskbar and right click, there is a toolbars option, see if lexmark is listed in the toolbars, check it and hopefully you get what you want

just bought a toshiba vista laptop and it wont let me install my lexmark 2300 printer, even when i have the installation disc?

i have just reinstalled everything on my computer because my computer had a virus i didnt have a disk to my printer so i downloaded a software off the internet the printer is working but it wont let me scan or anything else do u have a solution
Exact same... Printer works..no problems there...but the scanner don't work..Nothing happens when I press the scan button on the machine. This sucks!
The all in one center isn't even an option in the "all programs" > "lemark" folder. It has "solution center" to buy ink or whatever, "uninstall", and "readme".
I had to reformat my computer and since that I have downloaded the Cd many times but it wont give me any icon so I can use the program, I had no problem before reformatting.
