What does u6-03 mean?

This refers to the LCC (large capacity cassette) is not lifting the paper. Sometimes the paper can foul when incorrectly loaded & the copier cannot recognise the paper present in the cassette. To reset the error use SIM 15.

Sir! the problem of our kyocera mita fs 3800 is this that it gives us message that the paper is jam please open the cassette 1.and remove the paper. we opened the cassette 1 checked the tray but there is...

Try cleaning the paper feed rollers for that cassette. Sometimes the rollers get dirty causing the paper to slip and not feed from the cassette causing the machine to register a paper jam.

The rollers can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and a cloth.

Wont print ready light and alarm light flashing

When the printer "Ready" and "Alarm" LEDs flash as shown, please check the following points:
1.Paper Jam: Clear the paper jam referring to "How do I clear paper jams?"
If the printer does not automatically resume printing, press the control panel button.
2.No Paper/ Misfeed:
-The paper cassette may be out of paper or not properly installed.
-If it is empty, load a new stack of paper into the paper cassette.
-If there is paper in the paper cassette, make sure it is straight.
-If the paper is curled, straighten it before printing. Sometimes it is helpful to remove the paper, turn the stack over and put it back in the paper cassette.
-Reduce the amount of paper in the paper cassette, and then try again.
-Make sure you use paper that meets Brother's recommended paper specifications.
-Reinstall the paper properly, and then press the control panel button. The printer will start printing again.

I am getting a supply Rec Paper Cassette alarm error. How do i fix this and have it work again.

Hi ..

This error comes when the paper is not loaded properly in the cassette ... Follow the below instructions to load the cassette and I am sure you will not get the error again.

  1. Grip the cassette handle, and pull it out towards you until the cassette comes to a stop.
    remove_cassette_tray.gif

  2. Open a package of paper, and remove the paper stack. small_note.gif black_dot.gif If the paper is curled, uncurl it before placing it in the cassette. Failure to do so will cause paper creases and a paper jam. black_dot.gif 17 lb to 20 lb bond (64 to 80 g/m2 ) paper is acceptable. black_dot.gif The cassette holds up to approximately 500 sheets of 20 lb bond (80 g/m2 ) paper.

  3. Load the paper stack beneath the cassette's length guide (1) and width guide's claw (2).
load_paper_in_cassette.gif small_note.gif black_dot.gif Make sure that the paper stack does not exceed the length and width guides' claws in the cassette. Failure to do so will cause a paper jam. black_dot.gif Do not load extra paper when there is still paper left in the cassette. black_dot.gif Only load one size of paper into the cassette. Do not load different sizes of paper into the cassette at the same time. black_dot.gif Do not load labels or transparencies into the cassette.

  4. Gently insert the cassette as far as it will go.
small_note.gif black_dot.gif The cassette is for plain paper, colored paper or recycled paper only. Loading other paper in the cassette may cause a paper jam. black_dot.gif If copies are curled, or a paper jam occurs, remove the paper stack from the cassette. Turn it over and then place it in the cassette. black_dot.gif If you load paper while making copies, do not load a different paper size.
Closing the cassette When closing the cassette, make sure to push it in completely as far as it will go. If copying is performed when the cassette is not pushed in completely, it will cause a paper jam.

If copy paper is sticking out of the cassette Sometimes, when you pull out the cassette, paper may stick out, as shown in the illustration below. Make sure that the paper is neatly loaded into the cassette, before you push the cassette back into the main unit.

E02-06 error on a panasonic fp-d605 copier

The error E2-06 indicates a problem with paper tray lift in the Large Capacity Cassette (LCC) It could be a faulty lift motor or bad sensor. In this particular case someone crammed way too much paper into the lift tray. I took out half of the paper, restarted the machine and the error cleared.
