All just try this trick
Connect your phone to PC and try to acces the card on PC. Now format the card but, take the backup of data before formatting the card.

Some Secure Digital (SD) cards do not work correctly on Windows XP-based computers. Additionally, you may notice a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to the SD card in Device Manager.

I have the same problem with the same product
Same problem with 3 different 1GB cards, works fine camera. Wants to format it on computer in both 2 different Card Readers and front panel "MMC/SD" reader built into the computer.
my pc (notebook toshiba), doesn't read Kingston 2GB Secure Digital Memory Card! the pc is already upgradated from the web with all last driver !

I have a Kingston micro sd 4gb card that works fine in my HTC 3400 but not on my PC cardreader(win XP sp3) and also not in my samsung J750.
I can't find any way of formatting it on the HTC
both my computer and camera is not reading the memory card. i have tried using a card reader yet this has not worked. i am in desperate need of help!
