My CDC-X304 is still stuck in demo mode. I have pulled the fuse for at least 30 seconds and tried pushing and holding the menu button, but nothing works. Help!

hello, try this You need to enter MENU mode. To do this you press the little search button next to the volume knob. What you do is hold that button for about 1-2 seconds. It will then come up with menu demo on. I think you press the volume knob and it will go off
This recently happened to my Sony, maybe it will help u
If this cd player has a removal fascia then try..
Carefully inspect the the electrical contacts on the fasica and the cd player. If it has got dirt on them then CAREFULLY CAREFULLY clean with cotton swab dabbed in cleaning Alcohol.
I had the same issue and was about to give up. cleaning, key combos and such didn't work out.
Solved the dirty way, as described some comments above:
"Just took the faceplate from the "push-menu" button and hit it against
a hard surface [not too hard but not too soft hits] and thats it, it
worked again."
I HAVE SAME PROBLEM. AFTER I REPLACED MY DEAD BATTERY MY AIWA CDC-X304 IS STUCK IN THE DEMO MODE. ONLY CD WORKS BUT ALL BUTTONS ON FACING DO NOT RESPOND. ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO RESET.
