BTW, it is not advisable to use battery power when transferring images to the computer, since if the camera runs out of power partway through, all images on the card may be corrupted. Use the mains lead - it is what it is for. Alternatively, transfer the images by using a USB card reader, and placing the memory card in that.

OK first MSSWIN1 there are a lot of missing info in your question. Does your tv has a vga conection if it does this is easy just conect the vga cable to the the computer and the tv and the computer will dectect the tv authomatically if you're running on windows if you wantto use the computer's screen (that is if its a laptop) and the tv at the sametime you will have to go in to the settings and change it. { control Pannel=Appearenceand Personalization=Display=connect to an external display. .. OK if your pc does not have any VGA connector you will need a VGA to RCA convertor dont buy the cable (VGA to RCA) those don't work you will still need to buy a conversion box

yes after connecting your pc just right click on your desktop and goto properties then select settings column there you will see two small screens select the one written as alienware hd monitor.
and if it not shows up the second screen .then after conecting your monitor cable to laptop just update the monitor driver on your laptop after connecting to internet.

You have to hold the Fn key and then press F4. There should be 3 settings. Setting 1. Computer Monitor. Setting 2. Computer Monitor and External screen and setting 3. External Screen only. The order changes sometimes but pretty much all laptops follow this sequence in some way.

Press FN button together with the function button on your keyboard that has the image of 2 monitors. try pressing these button together and see if you can come up with a selection on your screen. There are 3 options under this function. It will be the main monitor option, Extending monitor 1 to monitor 2 option and lastly disabling monitor 1 while using monitor 2 option.

Why did you need t replace the monitor on the Dell 260? If it was because the old monitor and PC didn't show anything on the screen, then I would say that the PC is at fault. Since we know that the new monitor is working, I can only assume the 20 is the culprit. Possibly the PC's resolution is set different. Perhaps the 260's video is corrupted. Good luck

more information is needed for this question to be answered properly
im going to guss that this is your conection cable from video card to your monitor
try disconecting and reconecting the cable making shur that the cable is firmly conected at both ends
its posible that part of the tower case is preventing the full insertion of the cable into the socket
cut away 1/8 inch of the ruber shielding around the pc side of the cable so that it can fully be inserted into the conection
check that the pins on the male conection arn't bent or broken off

also run your closed hand down the cable itself checking for cracks cuts or breaks in the cable

if any problem is seen replace the cable if any pins are broken off check the femal reciver for the broken of part of the pin so as to not damage anothere cord

plain white screen means loose conecting the lvds cable to panel. reconect it.
if its goes off then check power board +5v or +14v filter capicitor.

Your keyboard has a special "Function key" (printed in blue). It is probably on the lower-left, next to the special Windows key or control key.
You also have several keys along the top row, also blue.
Hold the blue [Fn] and press the upper key that resembles a monitor. Release the two keys and wait a few seconds. If the monitor does not come on, wait a few more seconds, the press the two blue keys again. It will work.
By the way, the fluorescent lamp that creates the "backlight" for your laptop screen has burned out or the cable may be loose.

your monitor look like it was droped on the flor, ned to be recalibrate again, or some conection inside the screen is not conected as should be.open the monitor and chek the conection on the back of the screen. but take care it is verry sensibile there.
