Here is something to try on your iPhone. Hopefully it should fix your problem.
On the iphone, delete all the headsets you may have used from the UI of the iphone.
Turn off the headset.
Warm reset the iphone, press and hold the home and power keys on the
iphone for 10s, the screen will go blank and the phone will reset.
While the iphone is rebooting, turn on the headset again and put it
into pairing mode with the LED flashing red/white, red/white ...
Now when the iphone is ready, make it search for the headset.
When you see the "9xxPlantronics - Not Paired" entry on the iphone
UI, then tap the screen where this message is displayed and the iphone
will pair to the headset.
