The model number of my stove is PFEF385JFS1 and it is a Fridgidaire Gallery stove and seems to not be available. The manual is lost by the previous owners and I wish to clean the oven but cannot seem to get it to work.

Hello Sylvia Fairbank - I found the manual on the Frigidaire website. Here is the manufacturer link and hope you find all the information that you need. If for any reason you have difficulties pulling up the requested information, I recommend taking off the last letter of the model number so you can pull up the data.

Most Whirlpool model numbers start with two or three letters and have another two letters later in the number. W10198615D may be your serial number or a Lowe's product number, not the Whirlpool model number.

Usually though the model number and serial number aren't on the back of the stove. The plaque with this data is on the rim of the oven behind the warming or storage drawer.

The top element normally operates only when you turn the temperature control all the up to the broil setting as it is the broiling element. If it doesn't work at the broil setting, suspect a bad brioler element or a faulty temperature control.

This stove has sealed burners and there is no need to lift or clean under anything except the burner caps.
You can not get inside the top and you can not lift the top like the old pilot stoves!
When you clean the burners and around rings do not spray or saturate the are and or the igniter element that creates the spark.I'll be back in a moment with your user manual.
