Mitsubishi WS-65807 Projection Television. I was watching TV. Heard what sounded like the "pop" you hear when you power down the TV normally. Pressing power button on TV yields no response. Won't turn on at all. I am certain there is power from outlet to TV. Power Supply problem? Found this part number online: 930B867001 Where can I get pricing and availabilty for that part?

Your problem is one and or 2 differant problems. The power regulator could have went bad because of the convergence IC have shorted. Seen this a thousand(easy that!)Times. All parts in this set are soldered in and are not user serviceable. look in your owners manual or call 800-332-2119 to get an authorized servicer to come and look at your problem . I wish i could tell you what to replace but theres the Extreme Hi voltage inside these sets even when they are not plugged in .. Good Luck

Something related to the video boards. Check all inputs first, then check ribbon cables to the video board. Be careful of high voltage if you open the cover.

Add hdmi port to mitsubishi ws-65807

I doubt it as it was never designed for that kind of input, Component works best on this set and it should have only one HD input for a box marked in the menu as DTV.

It sounds like the coolant leaked from one or more of the projection tubes. You may need to replace the affected tube assemblies.
