I cannot play PS2 or 3 games on my playstation it just goes to the sony screen and it has my saved games on it and I played it last night but now it won't play I have a 80G
I had the same problem the games just stopped at the end of the playstation screen. i just had to turn it off.
so i rang up sony as my ps3 was still under warrenty so they are sending me a new 60gb ps3 in 3 days from now.

Its a problem from the system. Try re-updating the console... to the latest firmware... then try playing the game. If that does not work... call in the PSN
I had to restore My ps3 back to factory settings, which worked, but sadly i lost all of my save data such as saved games etc
but i am now on-line! Well done me!
Sounds like a game bug, either that or this bug only occurs for this particular game disk.. check it out on a different ps3, or like i would do, return it or sell it
