Any way to fix my sk3 white lcd?

does the view finder work ?
if yes, there must be the flat ribbon cable that may have been moved and disconnected, but if the view finder doesn't work too, there must be a board inside or a connector that has been moved (connectors a sometimes sensible to chocks, an in between the boards there are connectors too...) the LCD controler-processor board for exemple.

Still possible, be sure to replace original LCD parts, some class A don't last long.

I have had this problem recently myself and would like you to know that it is possible to fix. The white screen error or otherwise known as "white screen of death" is caused by the lcd color screen on the ipod itself. That is why its functions still work but the screen does not. Once you replace the color screen it will be as good as new.

It seems to be ur lcd stops working..Take this to service center...

yah. it can be fixed but i cant help you with that. i suggest that you should go the store where you bought the camera and request for replacement of your LCD.

have the LCD/screen replace...take it to a mobile tech and have that done.

HI im a tech at repairmysidekick.com the problem is the white screen is because of the many times you fliped the screen open or close and the flex cable which connect the screen to the phone is damaged...if you like an easy fix you can try to open the screen halfway and stick a paperclip in the pinhole on the right to soft reset the lcd if it doesnt work you can also try to remove the screws on the crome base and turn the screen upside down...check the leeds if they are gold there good if black you need to change the flex cable we can do it for you. just visit repairmysidekick.com

Oh my gosh this really works! Our screen went white, we hadn't dropped it or anything. The camera still worked fine but we just couldn't see what we were taking a picture of. We tried this solution and now we can see the picture through the screen perfectly. THANKS for posting this!

Did you by chance drop the phone recently?

A loose cable for the lcd can cause this or a bad lcd.

You need to disassemble it to take a look.
