Can hear the sound on my 73 inch mitshubishi, but no picture at all..no black and white..nothing. After a few minutes the led red light in front that says "Lamp" comes on? What's the problem and how do i fix it? I tried the reset button.. I tried unplugging it and letting it sit for hours. Turn it on and same thing happens

You need to replace the lamp inside the DLP TV. they are about $400 or so depending on your are. i would google the best price and find the must trust worthy TV repair place or call best buy.

My TV is doing the same thing right now. The TV guy says if my lamp is actually not broken or busted which is why the box is around the lamp then it is not the lamp. Would this hold true? I do not want to buy a lamp and it not be the lamp.

RCA 52 INCH D52W20B WON'T COME ON

A 1995 60 inch rca good picture and sound. Then it started a cracking noise and a hissing sound, then the picture went blurry. then it was nice picture and sound, then it died. took the back off and turned out the lights. Plugged the tv in and out from the wall socket and there was a sparking noise and a small arc when i plugged it in and out a few times ,at the part that the power plug plugs into. The white part that is beside the white power plug part has thick red wire coming out of it and goes into another plug that has more red wires in it. but the big white part beside the power plug part looks burnt and has black powder on it. that part is probably the problem but maybe not, what it the name of that part and how much would it cost and is it plugged in or soldered.
