Ever time I try to print anything, I get a message saying the printer is out of paper. But it's not out of paper! There is plenty of paper in the tray, which I keep reloading, only to get the same message.

Cause
Any of the following issues can cause this issue:
The paper trays are empty or overloaded.
The paper is curled.
The print side, or shiny side, of the paper is not loaded in the tray face down. For photo paper, always load the rougher side of the paper facing up.
The paper is too slick for the product.
The paper might not be engaged with the feed rollers.
The paper-width guide is pressed against the paper stack too tightly.
The paper tray is not completely inserted into the product.
The paper settings in the print driver do not match the paper loaded in the paper tray.
The rubber paper-feed rollers are dusty.
Check the media and print settings

a)While the printer is on, remove the power cord from the back of the printer, wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord into the back of the printer.

b)If the printer is not already on, turn it on by pushing the power button.Replace any paper that is ripped, dusty, wrinkled, or bent. If the paper is curled, uncurl the paper by gently bending it in the opposite direction of the curl or replace the paper.

c)Verify that all the paper is the same size and type.

d)Tap the stack of paper on a flat surface to align the edges

e)Verify that the stack of paper to be loaded in the unit contains between 10 and 25 sheets of paper.

f)Insert the stack of paper into the printer and then gently push the paper guides snugly against the paper.

g)Adjust the paper settings in the print driver. The paper settings in the print driver must match the paper settings for at least one of the installed paper trays.

1.Open a document in the application in which it was created.
2.Click File
3.Click Print
4.Click Properties . The Printer Properties dialog box displays.
5.Click the Paper/Quality tab.
6.In the Size is drop-down menu, select the size of the paper loaded in the unit.
7.In the Type is drop-down menu, select the type of paper loaded in the unit.
8.click ok.
9.On the Print dialog box, click OK to print the document.
10.Try printing again.
If the issue is not solved, try next steps

1.Turn off the product and unplug the power cord.
2.Open the access door to gain access to the rollers. Depending on the model, this is usually the rear access door.
3.Clean the rubber rollers with a lint-free cloth, lightly moistened with water.
4.Make sure that any paper rollers that rest on the input tray, which are located behind the back rollers, are cleaned. A clean cotton swab, lightly moistened with water, might be necessary to reach these rollers.
5.Close the access door and plug in the power cord.
6.Try printing again.

SOURCE: i have a samsung SCX 4824 FN printer- message

Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center.

I can not get it to print anything from my computer. When I do the status says error. It had said out of paper even though there was plenty of paper in the tray. I reinstalled it, shut it down ... got rid...

I think that the key instruction is the one about cleaning the rollers inside the printer - accessed from the back of the printer. They aren't the wheels visible just inside the rear of the printer, you're looking for a wheel or set of wheels farther inside that rest on the input tray.

All 8 new ink cartridges, new MT tank, nothing prints. it goes thru the motions of rinting, but no little to no ink is on paper, less and less ink each subsequent print. Most recent print has a hint of...

take your ink cartridge out from your printer. you can see at the ink carriage there are little pipes where the ink usually flow from cartridge. If head cleaning and power cleaning does not work, then try to clean those pipes by using 96% alcohol fluids and **** the pipes using something.

Adding paper

I had this problem, try half filling the paper holder and move the slider tight against the paper. This worked for me.

Keep getting "11 load letter in tray 1" message

Are the print jobs being sent to printer all the same page size?

Are they all print jobs sent letter page size and your printers cassettes are set for A4 or something?

Your printer is asking for letter size paper, because any paper it has is not set to letter  and document that it is trying to print has been sent as that size.

Check what options you have on print driver on pc as far as Tray defaults, paper type and size settings

Check printer settings via its keypad as to tray defaults, paper size set for each tray and paper type, some printers have paper size switchs on their trays too.
