Angel Did you buy the chair or was it gotten through Medicare? If Medicare paid for the chair then they will pay most of the repair costs. If you purchased the chair you can go to pridemobility.com and look up your chair or call 1-800-800-8586 and ask for Tech support for a Jazzy chair and they should be able to help you. If Medicare paid for your chair your Provider where you got the chair can order the joystick for you and bill Medicare or you can buy the joystick through them (provider) Hope this helps you

The speed lights keep flashing. It still moves.

The speed light flashing usually indicate that the chair is in "Limp Mode" This could be either the motor is getting too hot or the chair has a lift on the seat. If the chair runs fine for a while and then this condition appears, you may have a bad motor or a brake dragging causing the motor to get hot. the controller will allow less power to the motors to help it cool down and still keep you mobile. If you have a lift on the chair that raises up the chair, you will have to lower the chair down to gain the full power back. If neither one of these solutions are the problem, then you will need a Tech to come out and look at the problem. you may have a more serious problem that a tech can troubleshoot.

I have a Jazzy 1103 Ultra and the lights are all on like it should be but the chair will not move. I am in Mississippi visiting my daughter and would love someone to help me. Thanks!

It could be a few things.
It might be on freewheel. To solve this: 1. Turn the chair off. 2. Locate the freewheel lever just behind the drive wheel, and on top of the motor. 3. Push the lever inward to engage the motors. 4. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other side. 5. Turn the chair on and see if it works .
If not, it the circuit breaker might need to be reset because of heavy strain on the motors and batteries. To solve this: 1. Turn the chair off. 2. Find the circuit breaker on the front of the case, off to the right side (you will see a hole in the case) 3. Press the circuit breaker button. 4. Turn the chair on and see if it works.
if not, the battery may need to be disconnected and reconnected To do this 1. Turn the chair off 2. Release the friction lock lever under the seat. 3. Remove the seat. 4. Release the rear shroud fastener and the yellow fastener under the front shroud. 5. Remove the shroud. 6. Disconnect and reconnect the battery connector (the big plug) 7. Replace the shroud and seat. 8. Turn the chair on and see if it works.
If not, contact your provider.

Re: Pride Jazzy 1103 Ultra. Chair is acting like the seat is still elevated and the speed is set to slow (with indicator light flashing). Please let me know what should I be checking?

When the power seat lift lowers down, there is usually a bracket that pushes a button under the seat that tells the motor the seat is lowered and the power chair is safe to operate. Sometimes the bracket can get bent and the button does not get pressed when the seat goes down. Check under the seat around the seat post for the button and make sure the bracket is connecting to it. Carefully bend it back into place if it is not hitting the button properly. If the bracket came off, it will need to be replaced.
Good luck!

Jazzy jet 3

Look in your owners manual for the flash code anwser. Make sure when you hit the power button you only touch it for 1 sec not more. If you press the power button for more the 2-3 seconds you place the power chair in LOCK OUT mode. lights will flash and not power. also check your free wheel levers. one on each moter. Mike

Lights on hand control flash off and on and chair will not operat

There is a series of diagnostic flash codes associated with the controller. The diagnosis depends on which color and how many lights are flashing. If you post the combination, I can help you. Or you can download the Basic Operation Instructions of the Pilot Controller from the Pride website. The codes are listed on page two on the troubleshooting instructions.

The power lift seat on my wife's Jazzy 1103 Ultra won't actuate.

most actuator motors have an in-line fuse, I think the one for pride 1103 is located under the cover at rear of chair or close to actuator motor
