The set-up manual is missing from my brand new LaVie LM 530, which I bought in Japan in Jul this year. Please help me find the instruction manual on line- either in Japanese or English.

Manual is attached. You should be able to change the language setting in the 57 LM under settings/language and keyboard.

Is the volume turned up or is it muted? Check for setting first before you blame a missing driver.

A ten year old Black and Decker has about zero chance of working no matter what you do. Buy a new brand name drill.

lookup the specs for the machine and then download the drivers for the different hardware that make it up... you maybe looking for a video driver for nec lavie s ls 900/8e when you should be looking for the driver for the actual graphics chip family inside of it... thats worst case... best case goto the nec site and download the drivers...

Hi you need to reinstall the Japanese version of vista then download the full english language compatibility pack, then you can change from one language to another without losing any of your settings.

what exactly do you need to do? you formatted so are you going to reinstall windows? if so you will need a restore CD or a OEM or retail copy of windows, plus your drivers specific to that model. I believe that you can search for services on the web that will translate entire websites by entering the sites address.

you can also search other online databases for drivers too.

The NEC Lavie models are distributed only in Japan.
You'll have to call NEC and find out US name/model for that unit. Or find somebody who can read Japanese. NEC support website only on Japanise.

If you just bought it new and it came with no instructions, you should first contact the store you got it from for a manual.

Otherwise, manufacturers certainly do not want to expose themselves to serious liability by letting their ovens be sold without instructions!
