Hi gregbrands,
If your watch is several years old, I would recommend sending it back to Casio for service and battery replacement. Contrary to what you may hear about solar-powered watches, the rechargeable batteries do not always last for 10-20 years. I've seen some go out in 2-3 years. This is a shorter lifespan than most standard lithium watch batteries.
You may have an authorized Casio service center near you also. If not, contact Casio at the following numbers:
For Repair support in USA at 1-800-706-2534 during regular business hours (currently Monday-Friday 9:00a.m. - 5:00pm EST, Saturday / Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.)
For Technical support in USA at 1-800-435-7732 during regular business hours (currently Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00pm EST for all products, Saturday / Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m)
The cost of your watch well justifies this kind of service, plus, they will assure it remains waterproof up to its specifications.
Let me know if I can help further.
Thanks, Bill
