Disconnect the battery and reconnect, if that doesn't shut it off, take it in for service, that's why the check engine light is there!

strange obd2 fault code

to clear any
try disconnecting the battery terminals for a bit
then reconnect battery
check fault codes again

Engine light won't go ouy

Hi Patricia, The fault code indicates there is something wrong with the evaporation system on your vehicle. Take it to a shop and once the fault is rectified they will clear the fault code with their scanner. Regards John

If you disconnect the battery you may loose
things you need & really cause problems

I suggest you get the car repaired & then the light
will go away or be cleared at the repair shop when they
no longer need the stored data

You clear it, they can not diagnose the issues

If fault isn't repaired the light comes on until it is
& you won't be allowed to go thru inspection either

Finding the fault code will not clear the problem if you reset the system without finding the cause the light will just come on again or the fault code will not clear.
Anything related to brakes should be checked out by a garage/mechanic and not ignored.
Its probably just an abs sensor failed but its better to be safe than sorry.
Sorry for the lecture but I wouldnt like to see anyone hurt due to brake system failure.

How do i reset service light

The light is indicating a fault. The computer stores the faults codes, and a scanner can extract the codes and clear them, if desired. Recommend you get the codes before clearing them.

If you have already obtained the codes and effected repairs, the system will rerun diagnostics as you drive and will clear any fault codes that are no longer detected.

Error code F 1 stove beeps

Happy to help.

You said, your range has an error code F 1 stove beeps.
This should reset the system.

A Solution to Common Problems
Oven control beeps & displays any F code error (for example
F1) - Electronic control has detected a fault condition.
Press CLEAR/OFF to clear the display & stop beeping.
Reprogram oven. If fault recurs, record fault number. Press CLEAR/OFF &
contact an authorized service agent.

This should resolve your problem and reset the system.

System Fault Code 10-389 refers to a Fuser Nip Contact Failure.

To service the Fuser Nip Failure problem, you'll need a specialized laptop called a PWS (Portable Work Station).

So, unfortunately, this problem needs to be handled by a professional service tech.
