Haier ESA 3185 AC won't cool; makes escalating loud vibrating noise near front panel/ filter

Haier ESA 3185 AC won't cool; makes escalating/progressive loud vibrating noise near front panel/ filter for about 3 minutes then stops as fan continues. Fan is keeps running. No cool air any time and air seems slightly "cooler" when vibrating noise is happening. This is an Energy Star a/c that shuts off compressor after optimal temp is reached, and this problem sounds like the compressor is shutting off, but the vibrating rattling is MUCH louder, sounds internal. Help?

Have someone check the run capacitor of this unit. If the run capacitor is bad over shorted it can cause the unit to run and short cycle on a current overdraw. This makes for an electrical imbalance in the compressor motor. Next step is the compressor is faulty.

My Haier washing Machine vibrates and makes a very loud vibration noise.

Have you noticed any grease or oil stains on clothes coming out of the washing machine?

In my personal experience, heavy vibration and loud noise during spin cycles has been caused by the bearing being broken and further damage caused by running on a broken bearing. If that is the case it is a costly repair, I had to get a new washing machine.

Washing machines are simple to take a part to a small extent, just remember in what order you took things off if you decide to investigate further your self.

I have samsung french door refrigerator 2 door 2 drawer with vibrating a noise. I have removed the back panel and the noise does not seem to be cominng from this area. any suggestions.

We have a different model Samsung, and I've heard a vibrating or buzzing noise twice. First, if the water filter isn't an exact fit (even Samsung's filters rattle), it will rattle. Second, if either of the ice makers gets stuck or jammed, it can make a vibrating noise. If our freezer drawer isn't making a good seal, ice will build up under the drawer or in the slides. Ours makes more of a humming noise, when this happens. Other areas to check: something stuck in the runner of your drawers or shelves (if yours pull out). There are also vents that draw air in and out of the cooling unit, and things in front of them may vibrate or rattle, too.

Noise from vibration of the bottom panel

Take filter out and take a look with a flashlight and see if you see any coins, paper clips, etc. in the bottom of the filter housing.

Air is not cold, and a wierd cracking noise

You are required to get the AC serviced which you can do it yourself except the checking of cooling gas. Unplug the power cord. Remove the AC from the frame. Take it near to a water point where it can be washed. Remove the front filter and clean it with a mild soap solution. Next take a water pipe and spray water jet in the air vents/fins. Let it dry. For cracking noise connect the power cord and run the AC locate the noise. If it is any loose part fix it or provide necessary packing to avoid vibration noise. When you are running the AC check if there is moisture condensation on the cooling pipes. If it is there then the gas is OK otherwise you have to top up the cooling gas. If the sound is coming from the compressor then you have to change the compressor. Re assemble if you are satisfied that the gas and compressor defects are not there.

Some panel in my Neff electric oven is making a loud vibration noise on fan mode. The vibration noise stops if the top part of the front surround (with door open) is pushed in. There is no vibration on...

Update: after using the oven with the grill instead of the fan, the problem sorted itself. With the heating and cooling, obviously some panel had not settled correctly and was causing the vibration. It hasn't happened again so far.

Loud as Hell

Is it installed in a window? Check to make sure it is installed correctly. usually there is a felt or foam strip that is used to dampen vibration when you place it in the window. It also acts as seal to keep outside air and bugs out. If you place your hand at various locations on the unit does the sound go away? If it does then you know it is a vibration problem. Just add new foam or re-adjust the foam or gasketing it already has. If that doesn't work then try to locate the source of the noise. Use a mechanics stethoscope or even a cardboard tube from paper towels will work. Once you have located the source then you can tell the store what the problem is when you take it back and get a new one. Cheap air conditioners are noisy. Some more than others, it's why they are cheap. But your problem does sound like it could be a product issue.
