This is a Karcher 3000 psi unit with the Honda engine, after using it I saw emulsified oil all over the front just below the pump. I'm assuming a seal is gine but haven't torn into it yet. What's going on here?

OUR KARCHER 2600 PSI PRESSURE WASHER W/ HONDA ENGINE WON'T START. WE BOUGHT IT A SAM'S CLUB LAST YEAR AND PROBABLY HAS ONLY BEEN USED ABOUT 4 TIMES. PLEASE ADVISE.

Hello:
Have you tried changing the gas, Especially, if it has been in the machine of a while. Also some Honda engines will not start if the oil is low. Also try removing the high pressure hose before you start it? Do not run it very long without water flowing through the pump, though.

I have a Karcher 3000 model G3060 OH WITH hONDA G190

It may be due to some water getting into the engine. I would change the gas and change the oil.

Karcher G 3000 BH Engine Pumping Problem

This may not be a motor problem. It sounds like your pump is not working properly and the motor is just following the pump. First thing to do is check for leaks in the pump, wand hose, gun etc. It may also be a blown water seal inside the pump.

Honda GC190 engine shuts down on my Karcher 3000 PSI PW

Well would you believe that I have the very same problem. I suspected that the pump was seizing up, so we tried the pump on another unit and it worked fine. On inspection of the motor we found the cam (which also operates the decompression mechanism) was worn out. It's made of hard plastic. It is only about 7 dollars too, so cheap enough to fix. I have mine ordered now and feel pretty confident that that should fix it.

Where do I look and what am I looking for when checking pump oil level . Honda / Husky 3200psi bought reconditioned from home store with out papers .

The pump oil reservoir and pump pistons are between the Honda engine and the business end of the pump. It rarely brass, like the pump. It may be square or tubular. Some of these units have a site tube on the side, some don't. Some have an oil drain plug (bottom) and a plug to put oil in (top). If not, you have to take the pump off. Either way, be sure to use NON-detergent oil and only fill it about 1/3 to 1/2 full.

Karcher 3000 psi won't start.

It sounds more like a carb problem flooding and dumping some gas into the oil. This unit probably has a low oil sensor and the gas could be affecting this. I would have somebody look at the carb and find out why doing this, change the oil and try again. I have one that leaks gas because of float problems, that has done it since new, waiting for spring to remedy. Good luck, Also you can go to Karcher.com for a parts explosion and manual if needed.
