The comcast remote will work just set it up to find the code automaticaly, you will have to push the channel button about 45 times be for it finds the right code but it will work.
The signal is comcast,U have a comcast box right use the comcast remote.Try this website 1-800-Rmotes Factory original.For replacement,less trouble than with the universal remote,cost less the the tv company trying to sell u a new remote.
Are you using Comcast remote to control the TV? When you program the Comcast remote to control your TV, it will do two functions: on/off, and Volume control. The Comcast can also be programmed not to control the volume of the TV (TV volume will have to be set at about mid level manually, then the Comcast box will send out variable sound level to the TV), just on/off ONLY.
mbhagdev, i've found that sometimes by using the remote code search procedure i have been able to program some hard to set brands either tv, vcr.dvd etc. try this procedure you'll find it in your set up manual for your universal remote, your other option would be to click the web page for the universal remote you are trying to program and give them the corresponding info to see if they can come up with an updated code for your olivia tv. good luck and thanks for leaving pos feed back if i answered your question.
the remote control code for DirecTV with Olevia 242T or 237T (37' or
42') model is 11610. this code will power on/off and volume up/down the
buttons on directv remote.
