My tv comes on, I can hear but there's no picture.The tv just went black.Are my bulbs gone bad.Please help!I love this tv!!!

backlight may have gone if your tv has one

Try a "hard reset" first by unplugging the set for 30 seconds. and if no help, you may have a problem with the SMPS power supply, it might have a bad capacitor or two by now. Worth repair if engine is good compared to a flat panel.

When was the last time you changed the bulb for the projector? has this gone bad? If the bulb needs changed, consult your manual for instructions and if the bulb is good let us know.

Did you experience any storms recently? IE. the power cut off unexpectedly?

An electrolytic capacitor has gone bad in you high voltage section of your TV or the high voltage oscilater has gone failed please have tech check and replace

Some have 3 bulbs to cover the size of the screen definitely 1 has gone if its so dark

Hello, This is a DLP projection tv so most likely the bulb has gone out. Usually there is a place in the rear of the tv to open & replace the bulb. If you try a new bulp & it dosen't work then it could be that the power supply that runs the lamp has gone bad. You may want to see if you can get a bulb from a place that will let you return it just encase the problem is the power supply. Light bulbs are usually between $200 - $400 & you can usually find the part number on the lamp, On the tv, or in the manual. I have had good luck finding deals on http://www.topbulb.com & on ebay.

this problem may be caused by bad inverter or Cold cathode bulb. This can normally be repaired by a qualified shop or technician.

sounds like the color wheel has gone bad..the part is not very expensive but it takes some work to replace it
