I got a Kingston 4GB Data traveller pen drive which when plugged into the usb slot gets detected and also opens fine but when i try to send in files to it it says : "Windows was unable to save all the data for the file K:\$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere." How got get going please help me am unable to use my pen drive. Thank you.

How can I retreive my files from a kingston 4GB DataTraveler

plug the 4kg data traveller it into a USB port open windows explorer open the data traveller select the files copy and paste into my documents on your computer

32Gb kingston pendrive not working. Any data copied get corrupted

When i copy any data to my 32 Gb Kingston pen drive whether any audio or video file or any software, the data get corrupted or may be deleted. some trimes it happen that some of the AV files are working. Why this happened that the data are deleted. I have lost many of my files due to this.It cannot be fomatted also. Please sort my this problem. Thanx

hmmm....hello friends...your pen drive is corrupted...its better to change this pen drive because kingston pen drive is in 5 yr warrenty period... so dont wrry and change it.....or you can try this pen drive to any other computer ...if behaviour is same then i would request to you , change pendrive as soon as possible

Pen drive not been detected by laptop.

try connecting it to a diff. usb port.
most likely problemis that the drife may have malfunctioned.

You just plug it into a USB port and your computer will automatically detect it.

MFC application in kingston data traveller encountered problem and needs to be closed

how did you try to format ?, try to unistall the driver when complete put the drive back in usb port. if that doesnt work keep the drive in port and open my computer right click on your thumb drive and go to properties click on tools and try error checking. this is probably where you try to format. once test is done pull drive out and reboot then put drive back in

Hi,
its not a issue , down load HP low device formatting freeware , then format your usb using that software , then reboot you computer inject the usb, again format your usb in windows , use FAT32, not ntfc to format, it will for mat then try to save it it will , its nothin your usb is affected by autoexe virus it will be find if you follow what i said,
