Hi, I have Kenmore select clean self cleaning electric range 655.95802/95804/95809, not sure which one. I had the oven set at 170 degrees for warm up. I "smelled " the heat and realized it was hotter than that! The top coils would not turn off after shut down. I turned the breaker off. Can this be repaired? At what cost? Thanks for anything you can offer!

Never use spray cleaners in a self clean oven it will void your warranty and possibly ruin the oven. it sounds like what may have happened is the fumes from the spray ignited inside the oven and may have blown out the pilot light if your using gas.
or maybe replace the thermocouple. sorry, hope that helps.

Press the self-clean button.  The panel becomes blank(---), then press the up arrow( ^ ).  The panel will appear 3:00 (indication for the duration of self-cleaning). The oven will lock on its own and start the self-cleaning.  Good luck, ya'll!

F2-E1 - Touch Pad (Keypad) Cable Unplugged -
Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

It appears your timer/clock has failed in this instance.

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.
