The water tank has a float magnet in the left hand side of the tank. A reed switch is mounted inside the machines right hand panel which senses if the tank is empty. If you remove the tank and fill with water and the display indicates fill tank. The sensor may have failed. Or the float has stuck in the down possition. If the display indicated filll sytem and or rinse. Then the sensor is fine. The next stage is to try rinsing . If it keeps saying filll system or rinse then there may be a blockage in the tank. Or the flow meters have failed. This is assuming water is being dispensed from the water arm etc . If no water is being dispensed and this time assuming you can hear the pumps running. Then there possibly be a blockage in a thermoblock. I could go on for ever guessiing based on the info you discribed. If any more info is required please say
Take it out and get in there with a vacuum. There are fans that keep it cool and there is a color wheel that might be damaged. All those shards need to be removed
There are a few reasons this may be. If you are new to CB this could be 1 possible reason.
You may be experiencing "Skip". Skip is when the ionosphere is charged with energy by a solar flair(s), which causes radio waves to skip and bounce across them. Normally radio waves are line of sight. Meaning, the curvature of the earth prevents radio waves from traveling extreme distances. When skip is "Rolling" (meaning, skip is happening) the radio waves can bounce and skip around the earth and travel hundreds and even thousands of miles further then the typical 8 to 12 miles they normally travel.
There are a lot of guys out there that run "big power" using linear amplifiers to boost the power of their radio into the thousands of watts. They are more likely to "shoot a skip" much further then a "barefoot" radio. (radio alone with no amplification). Also they are very likely to key over lower powered signals.
So what may be happening is, you are hearing a CB operator(s) hundreds or thousands of miles away, who is running a lot of power. You can hear him because he is running a lot of power, so his signal goes very far.He cannot hear you either because your signal is not strong enough, or other CB operators running a lot of power are keying over you when you try to talk.
This is very like now because we are going into a solar flair cycle which lasts about 11 years. There will be an extreme amount of solar activity, so you will often hear skip rolling. Recently, in the past few months it has been going every day. Nights are usually quieter due to the fact that the sun is not out, although there may still be some skip going on.
You may like to try to shoot a skip. It will be hard with a barefoot radio on a busy channel. You may have luck in the evening on a quiet channel you hear a person or 2 talking. Try talking to them and ask them what state they are in. You may be surprised by what they answer.
If the issue is not skip, and you know who you hear is local, then there may be a few reasons.
You antenna may not be tuned to best SWR. Refer to your manual that came with the radio, and antenna under SWR. If you ANT light comes on when you key, you have a bad antenna problem for sure. If you have been keying it with that light coming on, and it has worked up until this point, you may have blown out your final transistor. Then the radio needs repair. Your mic gain may not be high enough. For a stock CB you might as well turn it all the way up and leave it.
This problem appears to be a vacuum leak. Look around the engine for cracked and dry-rotten hoses first and replace as necessary. To check for an intake manifold gasket leak, run propane up and down the rails with the engine running (if you can keep it running...) If you hear the engine flair up in RPM, you've found your leak.
These used to be sold on e-bay, i am still keeping an eye out as they no longer are for sale on there?! But keep looking as they weren't that expensive either! Hope this helps! Clare x
hi the oxygen sensor only kicks in when engines hot not on a cold engine what you need to do is get some one to find the buzzing noise then get back with some sort of discription yates210456
To fix it..........there is one screw on the unit on the outside.........really long!.......remove that and the entire unit just slides out of the housing..........
The replacement fan motor can be purchased on ebay....ranging from $21.95 to $32.95...depending on the model Flair that you have...the most common one is the $29.95 replacement...
Really quite simple to remove and replace!!! and well worth it!
