Video upload from EX-Z75 to Mac

I'm guessing its an Exilim EX-Z75

To record movies:
In REC mode, press the <BS> button (bottom right on back of camera)
Use the directions navigators to select the little camera icon on the menu. Press enter to select.
Press shutter button to start recording (A little REC symbol should come up in the monitor)
Press shutter again to stop recording when finished.
Give it a couple of seconds to recover between recordings (i.e. write the files).

The camera probably doesn't support that type of AVI file, this is because of the encoding it has been done in, for example DIVX, XVID etc. However you should be able to watch it on a PC.

I called Parts Replacement at 1-800-223-2001 and they told me I would have to purchase the USB Cable for my casio exilim ex-z75 over the phone for $4 (part) + $4.95 (S&H) because it not sold ANYWHERE online. I was hoping to get a cheap cable for a few bucks, but this is better than nothing!

the same thing is happening to me with my ex-z75. i don't know what caused it and i'm also having trouble getting it to stay.

Mac users and windows users alike can use a program called vlc media player. It works great on both. On a Mac you can drag and drop the movie into vlc. Go to videolan.org./vlc to download your operating system version.

I cant get my camera to download pic into computer..

A Faulty card or dud camera- Which? The only way to find out is to ---- Try another card in the Camera- This will prove card and camera If you get the 'Cant read' result on the alternative card - dud caqmera If all is OK - dud card.

the only way to fix is to send in and have it repaired.

Get on the internet and download the VLC player. Just do a google search for it and it is free. Works great on MAC as well as PC for movie issues.
