Everytime i send a text it goes to the out box and cues and wont send, ive checked the message centre number and turned phone off and taken sim out.

When you send out text messages, and the message goes to out box, it could be any of the following:
1. The funds on the line is not sufficient to send the message. So, check your balance (especially if you are a pre-paid subscriber), and if it is insufficient, recharge your line.
2. In the event that the above is not the case, then your messages centre number may have been tampered with. To confirm if it has been tampered with or not;
from 'menu',
go to 'messages',
then 'message setting',
then 'sending profile',
select the profile in use,
then 'message centre number'
select the number , if it has been tampered with yuo would see it.
But in the event that you dont know yuor message centre nuber, check the number on another phone of the same network as yours, using the same steps to get to the message centre number.
If the number on your phone is wrong, correct it with that of the cheking phone, and select 'ok'. Then try sending a message.
3. If all the above suggestions did not work, then it should be a network fault. Call your mobile service povider for more information.

hi there my lg gr500r receives messages calls and all but it wont let me reply by sms text message. ive turned it off and on and taken out the batt but it still wont send out messages. on my message settings i go into message centre number and it is blank. dont know why... but i dont know how to input the message centre number. is there a key on the keypad that i have to push in order for me to input the number coz it wont let me dail it in? thank you

check whether the sms centre no. is present or not...
follow these steps:
open messaging>settings>text message>text message centre

there should be a number
if its not present, contact ur service provider n ask for the no.
or else reset the phone
use 1809#*300#

Check for the correct Message centre number in the message settings. After its been verified the correct number, switch of the phone, remove sim card from phone for 10 minutes and then insert it again and start the phone. You can find the problem is been solved.

May be the service centre number has been changed to know the service centre number try getting some one else phone with the same sim and check the number. the number is in "message set up" then go to "text message" then check the service centre number.

ur message centre may be wrong!
switch off ur phone n rmove d sim!
again insert d sim and now switch on ur phone!
if the problem persists then
call the customer care of ur network provider! ask them abt their mesage center number n then open
messaging>>options>>settings>>text message>>message centres>>sim message centre>>message centre number
n then enter that no. there!

this may solve ur problem!

actually your network service provider gives you message center number. call their customer care to get the msg center no. put it in msg center box.. and everything will work fine.
