Hi, this is easy to do what you need is a sharp knife then the back of the watch will have a case on it smaller than the watch you will see its raised and has an edge running all the way round. Sometimes their is a tiny recess running along the top or bottom of this cover this is to put knife into to pry the back off, not all watches have this. If yours dont then get sharp knife and pry the cover off from either the top or bottom it can be tight but get the knife so your putting pressure on to lift the cover up. The cover is only pushed in and it clips in so their is nothing holding it down. Just keep prying it with a thin sharp knife untill the back lifts off it shouldnt be that difficult but just use thin knife and keep working it so as to lift the back cover off the watch. This will give you access to the battery and once replaced the back just pushes on by hand push it on hard as this seals it from water and dust.

The backplate is a "pry open" back. so you will need something like a blade or a hard thin flat object to pry the backplate. once this is done you will have access to the battery. Please note that there is a tiny Philips screw that holds the battery plate. you will have to remove this screw and then remove the battery plate. Also, note that around the case there will be a thin rubber "o" ring. this is what makes the watch water-resistant. so pls male sure you fix it back when you reinstall the watch.
the watch movement deters which battery the watch needs it is very important you do not put a battery in that doesn't suit the watch as it can short out the circuit however you can get the correct size in a gold seal quality which should not leak, also the older the watch, the more demanding the watch becomes on the battery as the movement components start to experience wear and tear
