Question about Connex 3300 240-Channels Base CB Radio
The raido sounds off freq . freq counter show it is on freq.
To use a freq counter on SSB, use a 1Khz oscillator in front of the mic. Your freq will now show AM chan freq + 1Khz USB or AM freq - 1Khz LSB (eg, 27.185+1Khz=27.186 USB, 27.184 LSB). Always worked for me :)

U mean on sideband? Frequency counter only useful on other than sideband operation. This does not mean the carrier insertion osc. is on frequency. If it needs adjustment, your voice will sound high/ low on transmit. Incoming signals will sound right after adjusting the osc.
