I installed window 7 into my laptop. My printmaster platinum 18 is now not working properly. What can I do to resolve this issue

Administrator privileges are required to properly install the program on Windows® XP, Windows Vista®, Windows® 7 and Mac OS X for PrintMaster Platinum 2011 .

Using mouse, right click on the "setup" and Run as "Administrator"

Broderbund PrintMaster Gold Version 18 is not compatible with Win 7.
The Printmaster Platinum 18.1 is compatible.

If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues, which is the case with Broderbund Print Master Platinum Version 18, you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check the Windows version you know the program worked with before. Maybe, It doesn't work because the driver/application you installed is for other versions of operating system. I am also using windows 7 like you so don't you worry, You can still use your old installer/driver from other versions of operating systems. Just remember that before installing any program in a windows 7 Operating System Computer, Use "troubleshoot compatibility". Right Click the Icon of your program installer/application first, then choose "troubleshoot compatibility". This will allow you to choose on what type operating system your program will run.
