I am looking for the large white plastic gear that moves the mechanism which produces air for the Peak Power System 700. My unit does everything but fill my tires. This gear is broken.

I could not find any part suppliers for your unit.

I sent an email to PEAK product support on your behalf.

If you need immediate assistance, please call PEAK at 1-800-323-5440 (USA), (847) 559-2000 (International).

FYI: I have an 20-yea- old Epson dot matrix printer that had a plastic round knob that was used to move the paper forward. I had a replacement knob machined out of aluminum. I still have the printer and the knob has never broken again. Maybe that would work for your unit if the broken gear could still be used as a template.

How do you recharge a Motor Trend Jump starter and air compressor

Should have been a patch cord that connects directly to the unit and to 110 volt plug for charging the unit back up. There's a built in convertor that does the re-charge. Find that cord or purchase one from where you got the unit.

I need to buy a power cord for the 11-410 Jumpstart w/ Compressor. How/where do I do that?

This item appears to have a DC input jack on the front. Bring it to your local Radioshack and they can get you a replacement adapter with the right plug and voltage.

Will not jumpstart

To recharge this unit at home use the AC charging adapter. Plug one end of the adapter into the AC/DC charger input port. Which is marked as number 7 on the image below. Then plug the other end of the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The charging port is located on the front of your power center and looks like the image below. If you did not get an AC charging adapter with your power center check the manual to see exactly what type you need. You will need to know the Voltage and AMPs of the adapter. Go to Radio Shack or an electronics store and purchase an adapter. It is very important that you make sure you get the right one. Your manual should tell you how many hours it takes to completely charge your power center.
