You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop. This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model laptop are located. Also make sure you select the Windows XP version of the driver for the Windows XP operating system. Hi Vostro owner.Dont worry,this can be sorted.Sound issue is not because u installed windows from a Non-dell cd.But i would ask to call up dell because they will provide u the XP disc that should have come with the system or even it is lost from you.Also then we can download the driver from support site : www.support.dell.com and install it.It is just a mere coincidence now.But the reason i'm asking to get cd from Dell is so that u can avoid any future problems with installing XP from a non-dell cd
