I have a Kenmore commercial freezer - I can't find the cubic size, but it is huge! The alarm went off, we pushed the reset button, but it won't go back to the correct temperature (10 degrees). It will go to 21 degrees, but flashes a "6".

In short you possibly have a gas blockage or a leak in the system and need a Tech. with gauges and testing equiptment to confirm.

SOURCE: Old Kenmore Freezer

It is uaually coded into the model #. Usually in the middle. I can usually eyeball them. another solution is measure the outside dimensions of a refrigerator or freezer you know the size of then compare them. This will give you a rough estimate.

SOURCE: Kenmore commercial standup freezer alarm

Sounds like the temp sensor is bad or intermittant. Check the connections to the display to see if they are loose. If not, the sensor might be bad, causing it to read the wrong temp. The fact that it is jumping around like that points to this kind of problem.

SOURCE: Freezer alarm stuck on - can't reset

Hi: Does the freezer have a battery backup for the electronics? A 9v. battery in the grill down below. You won't have to remove the grill but pull a small rectangular panel to expose the battery. High end Kenmore freezers have a battery to back up the alarm. The six you see is actually supposed to be a "b" for battery most likely. L.E.D.'s are tough to tell the difference. Buy an new battery and all will be well. I hope this helps, Jeff

Wherehis alarm reset button?

KM says this is an ice maker. Reset button is on the control board. Board is in compartment on the right side where the power switch is located. Remove 2 screws and remove cover by sliding forward. Watch for wires, do this carefully. On the board, up at the top, is a small, white button. With power on, push the button.

I would need to model number to check if you have a on/off for you over temp alarm. That "Buzzer" is a over temp alarm. If you fridge uses a 9volt battery then you might need to replace the battery. Please post your model number.

I can't turn my Kenmore upright freezer on.

Try disconnecting power for about 30 seconds, and then restore power. This will reboot the control and maybe restart.

Can you tell me how large (in cubic feet) this freezer is?

Is this a trick question? It is 20.3 cubic feet according to your question. This may be the capacity or the size of gross measurement ... you have not indicated.

Please ask the actual question you want to know ...

Thank you

ALARM WENT OFF ON OUR KENMORE UPRIGHT FREEZER. HOW DO WE GET IT RESET. WE HAVE PUSHED THE BUTTONS BUT RED LIGHT IS STILL ON AND FREEZER NOT RUNNING. THE PROBLEM STARTED BECAUSE WE DID NOT GET THE DOOR SHUT...

The light and alarm will remain active until the temp in the freezer is "normal" or satisfied. You should be able to push & hold the button (if electronic) until it stops. If it is a manual switch, they are usually located at the bottom of the cabinet below the door.(some are located inside the unit on the wall as well) It may be a "rocker" switch or part of the actual indicator light. Good luck
